Tax information (Stripe Connect)
Complete tax information in Stripe to unlock billing and payout features.
OpsBack does not collect a W-9 document from your shop. Stripe Connect collects legal name, tax ID, entity type, address, and tax certifications. OpsBack stores only your Stripe account ID and verification status.
How to complete tax information
Go to Billing and start Stripe Connect. Stripe walks you through identity and tax details. When Stripe reports tax information as complete, billing and payouts unlock automatically.
Verification status
Billing shows Tax information verified when Stripe has collected required tax details. If verification is still in progress, you can continue setup from Billing. Subcontractor Hub is separate: shops still collect a W-9 from companies they pay for 1099-NEC.
