How the dashboard coach measures expired estimates, missed calls, close rate, and jobs open 24h+.
The shop dashboard coach is for owners. It is titled Today’s money. Every morning it shows four numbers from your shop: expired estimates with no follow-up, missed calls yesterday, close rate over the last 30 days, and jobs still open or in progress after 24 hours.
What the numbers are
Those counts and dollar amounts are computed from your estimates, call log, and jobs. They are not guessed. If OpenAI is configured, it may rewrite the sentences on each action. It cannot change a number, invent a cause, or send you to a new page.
What to do
When an action appears, use the button. Expired estimates deep-link to the largest one so you can call or text the customer and mark it followed up. Jobs open 24h+ go to the stale jobs list so you can update or close work — not to Dispatch to assign a technician.
Close rate
Close-rate coaching waits until at least 8 estimates have been decided (approved, declined, or expired). Until then the card shows how many more you need. It only names a closer when their rate is at or below 50%.
