Understanding Job Statuses
What each job status means and how jobs progress through the workflow.
Every job moves through a defined lifecycle. Understanding statuses helps you track where each job stands.
Status Flow
Open — the job has been created but work has not started. In Progress — a technician has been dispatched and is actively working the job (en route, checked in, or on site). Completed — the technician has submitted their closeout report. Closed — final review is done. Cancelled — the job was cancelled before completion.
Job Numbers
Every job receives an auto-generated job number that you can use for internal tracking, customer communication, and searching.
